In the name of technology, the Pensioners are made to wait!
Employees were given without any hitch but for pensioners no payment!
Technology for whom? Technology for delay! Technology not for pensioners!
Demonstrate on 17th or 18th October in front of Circle Offices - whether the Administration allows or not grants permission to assemble and demonstrate!
The situation is very intolerable to the Pensioners who are drawing Pension from POSB. The Pensioners drawing from Banks have no problem and their technology allows mid-month payment. The Employees are drawing through the same POSB but no problem is encountered by them.
But the Pensioners and Family Pensioners are denied off-cycle payment during the month even though OM is released by the Government. POSB is having a special technology that not allows only the Pensioners and Family Pensioners from drawing any arrears during the month! The standing instructions to download the OM from the Pension Ministry website and directly pay the Dearness Relief without waiting for Directorate endorsement is being thrown to winds in the name of technology.
The payment made after the Diwali Festival has no meaning to many of us. We have to demand payment by mid-month of October without waiting for the end of the month to take the payment along with our monthly pension.
Demonstrate before all Circle Offices in the country and show our discontentment.
Let the Administration understand the situation in POSB and correct the software early to make the payment of arrears or make other arrangements to make the payment of arrears!
Demonstrate powerfully! Demonstrate to make the Administration understand our discontentment!
Demonstrate with our banners and flags so that the Department understand the effect of POSB technology which is inferior!
