AIPEU GDS(NFPE) 2nd AIC IN SHIMLA A GRAND SUCCESS

The 2nd All India Conference of the AIPEU GDS (NFPE) was successfully held in the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. Participation of Hundreds of Delegates and Visitors marked the growth of this new born organisation. The Reception Committee had taken pains to arrange the venue, accommodation etc in a befitting manner. Comrade Tapen Sen M.P and the General Secretary of CITU highlighted the growing attacks on the working class by the Modi Government and the resultant attacks on the three lakhs of GDS. He called upon the NFPE and GDS organisation to further strengthen and agitate for justice. 

Leaders like KKN.Kuuty (Confederation President); R.N.Parashar (SG NFPE); Giriraj Singh (President NFPE); Mohan (GS Casual labour); K.V.Sridbharan (Former P3 GS) attended and addressed. Comrade KR General Secretary AIPRPA also attended and addressed. 

The AIC planned for its further growth and decided to resort to agitation for getting the GDS issues referred to 7th CPC. It has resolved to request the NFPE to lead the united movement for realization of this demand. The NFPE Federal Executive that met one day after the GDS AIC also resolved unanimously to organise strike action from November 23rd for the Postal Charter with prime importance to GDS issue of referring them to the purview of 7th CPC and to place it before the Postal JCA for unified action.
