TALKS HELD BETWEEN DOPT SECRETARY & JCM NATIONAL COUNCIL STAFF SIDE

 

TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR 7th CPC UNDER PROCESS

 

 

 

The DOPT Secretary headed a meeting to discuss about the terms of references with the leaders of Staff Side of Standing Committee of National Council JCM on 24^th October, 2013. It is learnt that while the Staff Side leaders have broadly discussed about various aspects of terms of reference from the view point of staff side, it was stressed that the first blue print of terms of reference shall be supplied by the Official Side so that the Staff Side could react on that. Comrade S.K.Vyas Member of the Standing Committee as well as the Secretary General of the National Coordinating Committee of Pensioners Association; Comrade K.K.N.Kutty President Confederation; Comrade Umraomal Purohit Secretary Staff Side JCM NC as well as a Member of the SCOVA attended the above meeting.

We once again reiterate that the Government should provide an opportunity to the Pensioners Organisations also on the matter of finalization of terms reference of 7^th CPC in order to include the pensioners’ issues to our satisfaction. We point out the assurance of the Advisor to the Honourable Prime Minister who said that the 7^th CPC will look into the demands of the pensioners also.
