Strike continues! Prime Minister goes foreign!

The honourable Prime Minister has gone on official visit to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore! In India there is more than 90% GDS on strike for 9th day! Unable to sort out an issue  of his own government employees on indefinite strike is expected to sort out national and bilateral issues in foreign countries!! May be some Corporates interests require his immediate attention that warranted a foreign trip! We earlier projected the existing condition on par with buffalows  enjoying the rains when GDS go on strike! Now, there seems nothing excess in conceptualising the inaction of government like that!

GDS are rural face of India Post; GDS are the backbone of inclusiveness of rural population; GDS are the vital force for the government's digital India moves; Importance of GDS was categorically stressed by Kamlesh Chandra Committee; But the Central Government is least bothered about the discontentment of these large section of work force!

Media focus - Public support - gathering Parliament Members effective intervention are absolutely essential. Postal movement is closer to all theoretically! What is the hurdle in practically taking up this task to heart and approach these important sections to strengthen the strike? Please galvanize! Government is to be brought into senses!!

Payment to Employees on 29th! For Pensioners??

Omission on Payment of Pension on 29th May along with Employees - Is it omission or deliberate?

The AIPRPA CHQ is brought to knowledge about the orders of the Department of expenditure for payment of salary to CG Employees on 29th May, 2018 due to two-days Bank Employees Strike. As we ascertained, the mention of Pensioners was missing in that direction. Was it deliberate? Was it just a omission? Anyway, the AIPRPA CHQ has emailed to both Department of Pension and also to Department to Posts for issue of similar orders as follows:

AIPRPA Shows Solidarity to GDS Strike!

The AIPEU GDS (NFPE) as well as AIGDSU & NUGDS (FNPO) are launching indefinite strike from tomorrow. AIPEU P4 NFPE in support of GDS strike commencing indefinite strike from day after tomorrow. DG Posts held talks with the above four Unions today but except requesting for 'Don't go on strike' nothing concrete could be given out by him. He simply says that within one or two months Kamalesh Chandra committee will be implemented! This shows utter lack of seriousness on the part of Postal Board and Central Government towards burning issue of GDS for months!

The Unions have resolved to go ahead with the indefinite strike as planned. There may be threats! There may be punitive action! But Government and India Post are not ready to become sensitive! AIPRPA CHQ calls upon our rank & file organizations and comrades to extend all possible kinds of solidarity to GDS masses! Organise protests, assemble before HPOs / Divisional Offices etc with AIPRPA banners and demonstrate in support of GDS! As per local conditions, our comrades can take any solidarity action. It is our duty and responsibility to raise in defense of GDS downtrodden masses! Jump in solidarity and report to CHQ! - KR GS AIPRPA
